About the Foundation
The Pacific Piano School Foundation was established to provide support and financial assistance to students in the area. It does this in a variety of ways including giving music scholarships based on the three following criteria: need, community service, and performance merit.
The foundation is also active in promoting musical excellence through events, the PPS Foundation Sheet Music Library, and supporting students that participate in competitions.
The need-based scholarship is reserved exclusively for students from low-income families and was created to help these students continue music lessons, especially in the summer term.
In recognition of outstanding students who serve their community, our foundation along with the support of local evergreen business owner Denise Belisle established. “The Denise Belisle Scholarship for Community Service”.
And for distinguished young performers of Pacific Piano School, they can apply for the merit-based scholarships. Recipients must demonstrate having received high honors in the Certificate of Merit certification program and have placed in The United States Open Music Competition (USOMC).
By promoting these ideals, the foundation recognizes and honors students who are deeply committed to the music making process and to share their gifts with others.
